Lost

I, Kane, bring you a body of words that should get you thinking.

It’s a poem so you should understand that there is a lesson in there, as always.

It is one of my older works, so enjoy while I prepare the story that will make you smile.

LOST

I’m lost…

Bumbling and stumbling,

Through the marshes below.

I know from whence I’ve come,

But I’m trying to find my way back.

—-

Im lost…

I spent too long on the road,

So I stopped for a rest.

A dark cloud rose and with it,

A storm.

I forged ahead but I never found the sign,

To direct my course.

—-

I’m lost…

It’s been a long night,

But somehow, I survived.

The storm broke mast,

I may die here.

Mayday! Mayday!

We’re lost out at sea!

I yelled and waited,

But I got no reply.

—-

I’m lost…

I got here with a friend,

Who got lost as well.

I’ve called out to him,

But he’s long gone by now.

I know from whence I’ve come,

But can’t seem to find my way back.

—-

I’m lost…

I stand on a hill,

To see the distance.

I see the glorious city which is my goal,

But I have just one fear.

Reptilian predators in the waters below,

They smack their lips,

In hungry anticipation.

—-

I’m lost…

I know my way home,

I just need to find my way…

My way back to the way home.

I’m lost!

Is anybody looking for me?

Will I ever be found?

—-

I’m lost…

I might never be found.

I guess it’s just me and the wolves again.

Another lonely night.

  1. The distance between a lost man and his home is the distance between the point it takes him to realise that his fears are mere imaginations of his mind (and if he sees a path back home without predators, he’d be home) to the point where he takes the first step (taking out all negative vibes and thoughts of what might go wrong).

Negative vibes hurt more than positive vibes.

Cases like this requires one fighting like ones life depend on it, of course his life depends on it… Die an isolated lost man on a cold lonely night or Die trying to save yourself from dying in an isolated island or better still get saved from unending zeal and determination to get out

  2. I just need to find my way back to the way home!!!

How do you put there words together? How do you arrange them to such a degree that they come alive on paper?

    You are a genius man!

Keep up the goodness in your work.

    1. Err…

      D. Saint, are you sure you are not a woman… Or gay?

No offense, but you seem to be gushing and making me feel a little too special.

It might get to my head…
